Ghanaian Actor John Dumelo Donates to UG Security Services

Mr. John Setor Dumelo, an Actor and parliamentary candidate hopeful for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, has generously donated 2 motorbikes and 6 streetlights to the University of Ghana Security Services. According to him, this gesture seeks to enhance the security of the University community, ensuring safety and enabling prompt responses to emergencies.

In an interview with Public Affairs Directorate Media Desk, Mr. Dumelo noted, “I am well aware that the security service of University of Ghana is dedicated to preventing criminal activities on campus, however, they are handicapped in terms of mobility and visibility equipment. This is why I decided to donate the motorbikes and street lights to enable their mobility”.

He assured the security service of future donations.

Mr. Iddrisu Seidu, Acting Security Coordinator, received the items on behalf of his team with gratitude, and called on individuals and groups to continue supporting the enhancement of campus security.

Mr. Dumelo’s charitable act aligns with management’s effort to enhance security on campus and safeguard the university community.
